- Veterans Day Program: Menomonie Middle School, Nov 11, 10 am – Middle School Gymnasium (920 21st St SE, Menomonie). Doors open at 9:30; enter through gymnasium doors. This annual program will include middle school band, choir and orchestra, student readers and a guest speaker, military Color Guard.
- Veterans Day Program: Menomonie Senior Center, Nov 11, 11 am, Senior Center (1412 6th St E). Presented by the Dunn County Veterans Service Office.
- Veterans Day Program: Neighbors of Dunn County, Nov 11, 2:30 to 4pm (2901 Forbes Ave – Central yellow building). With over 20 former service members who call The Neighbors home, this event is to honor and celebrate their service and sacrifice. Led by the Dunn County Veterans Service office. - Conversation with John Armbruster, Author of Tailspin: Nov 5, 6pm, UW-Stout Student Center. WWII tale of William Moran. Free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
- Give Vets a Smile Event: Saturday, Nov. 7, 8am-4pm, CVTC Health Education Center, 615 W. Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire. Free dental care along with other free health-related services. No cost but need to register at www.cvtc.edu/forms/give-vets-a-smile AND make an appointment at 715-833-6271.
