Wearing Purple During Domestic Violence Awareness Month
On October 16, staff from Dunn County Human Services and the Dunn County Jail joined together in wearing purple in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Purple represents domestic violence awareness and serves as a symbol of support for survivors. By wearing purple, our staff joined survivors, advocates, and communities across the country in raising awareness and standing together in the effort to end abuse.
Thank you to our staff for showing their support and helping spread the message that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. Together, we can make a difference.
