For 50 years, Arbor Place has been a source of hope, healing, and recovery for individuals and families throughout Western Wisconsin. This September, the organization will commemorate that milestone with an evening dedicated to honoring the people who have carried its mission forward since 1976.

The Arbor Place 50th Anniversary Celebration will be held Monday, September 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the UW-Stout Memorial Student Center, located at 302 10th Avenue East in Menomonie.

The theme of the celebration, “50 Years of Showing Up,” recognizes the countless staff members, board members, volunteers, community partners, donors, alumni, and neighbors who have supported Arbor Place and the people it serves.

Since 1976, Arbor Place has provided prevention, treatment, renewal, and recovery opportunities to individuals, families, and communities impacted by substance use and mental health disorders. While programs, facilities, and treatment approaches have evolved over the years, the heart of the organization’s work has remained the same: meeting people with dignity, compassion, and hope.

The anniversary celebration will offer an opportunity for current and former members of the Arbor Place community to reconnect, share memories, and reflect on the organization’s impact. Guests will also hear about Arbor Place’s vision for the future and its continued commitment to helping build brighter tomorrows.

The evening will begin with guest arrival and time to visit from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by an opening greeting, dinner, a special anniversary program, and closing remarks.

Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner and a gift bag. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged. Up to eight tickets may be purchased in a single order.
