NEW RICHMOND – Tired of livestream channel hoping to find high school events from the Big Rivers Conference?
Or the Menomonie game gets over and you want to get an update on, say, the Chippewa Falls/Hudson or the New Richmond/River Falls match-ups that night?
Justin Strand and Zach Cunningham of New Richmond-based “Just in Live Stream” have assembled a website entitled “BRCLive” that has virtually all of the livestreams for the members of the Big Rivers Conference assembled together in one spot.
Strand and Cunningham have put 17 different sites together that cover the bulk of the BRC games.

The Beginnings
Strand began developing the Just in Live Stream concept around 2019 to bring more live streaming coverage to the New Richmond area. The concept exploded during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Strand, who is an insurance agent in New Richmond, was talking to one of his clients who is a horse trainer and found an audience to livestream horse shows across the country. That side of the business has grown to 25 horse shows annually and Cunningham joined the business as a full-time employee.
Just in Live Stream now produces 65-70 New Richmond High School varsity games per year. Strand said he and Cunningham were talking about how to expand their reach and decided to build BRCLive.
“BRCLive.net came from conversations Zach and I had about how we could take things a step further,” Strand said. “Zach really ran with the idea and started building the website as one place where people could find live-streamed sports throughout the Big Rivers Conference. From there, we kept adding to it — stats, schedules and other features that hopefully make it a useful resource for fans of the conference.”
“At the end of the day, our goal with both Just in Live Stream and BRCLive is pretty simple,” Strand said. “We want to promote the student-athletes of the Big Rivers Conference and give as many people as possible the opportunity to watch and follow them.”
