Directed by Russell Slack (Murder on the Orient Express – 2023, And Then There Were None – 2024), this lively comedy promises an evening of laughter, quick disguises, and outrageous misunderstandings.
Set in 1905 at a fictionalized UW–Stout, this adaptation takes the familiar hilarity of Charley’s Aunt and reimagines it with a Menomonie flavor. College students find themselves tangled in a web of mistaken identities, desperate deceptions, and unexpected romance — all with the over-the-top flair of steampunk style. With witty dialogue, eccentric characters, and a playful mix of history and imagination, this production is the perfect way to kick off the season.
Whether you’re a fan of classic theater, local history, or simply love a good laugh, you won’t want to miss this riotous romp.
