NEILLSVILLE – Every year four rides from all over the state with over 100 riders come together at the Highground.
Formerly known as the ‘Highground Annual Bike Tour,’ the Heroes Ride is the largest and longest-running annual fundraiser for “The Highground” still pedaling strong in 2026 for the ride’s 42nd year.
The Western Route is a three-day tour starting in New Richmond riding through Menomonie, Osseo, and finishing at “The Highground.” The Highground Veterans Memorial Park is located in Neillsville. The Western Route has been riding for “The Highground” since 1985 with riders of all ages participating.
The riders will arrive in Menomonie on the afternoon of Friday, July 31. They plan to stop at the park behind Lucette’s Brewery between 2:30-3:30 pm for snacks and water before going on to their lodging for the evening.
Come out to support these riders as they raise funds to provide PTSD programs and Veteran Retreats at the Neillsville “The Highground.”
