MENOMONIE — The Community Foundation of Dunn County and Downtown Menomonie, Inc. will co-host their annual Flag Day ceremony on Sunday, June 14 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Dunn County Veterans Memorial, located at 201 6th Avenue East in Menomonie. The event is free and open to the public, with no RSVP required.
The ceremony will honor local veterans and feature the induction of new memorial bricks at the Dunn County Veterans Memorial. The event also celebrates Flag Day — a national observance marking the adoption of the American flag on June 14, 1777 — and recognizes the sacrifices of those who have served.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, as seating at the memorial may be limited. All community members, families, and visitors are welcome. The event is held outdoors, rain or shine.
