Menomonie Middle School Presents ‘Something Rotten Jr! at the Menomonie High School Auditorium this weekend.

Join the Menomonie Middle School Drama program in a journey back to the Renaissance! It’s the 1590s, and brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.

Tickets: $5. Purchase at the door. Cash or check only. Children 4 and under free.
Activity and Staff Passes will not be accepted. Ticket sales start one hour before performance and end 10 minutes after start time.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to start. No late admission. Run time is one hour, 30 minutes.
