The Honor Guard of Dunn County is seeking volunteers to be part of their Honors squad.
The Honors squad consists of volunteer members from all branches of service who volunteer their time to honor their fallen comrades in funeral honors requested by the family. Most of the squad’s necessary uniform is provided to the member at no cost.
Standard military funeral honors include:
Sounding of Taps
Folding and presentation of the American flag to the next of kin
Firing of three rifle volleys
