Menomonie – Stepping Stones of Dunn County, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting families and individuals in need through its shelter and food pantry services, is excited to announce its upcoming fundraising event, set to take place on Saturday, July 5th from 6 pm – 9 pm at Wilson Park. This event aims to raise crucial funds and collect essential donations to continue serving the community.
The highlight of the event will be free live music by Uncommon Denominator, a well-known local band celebrated for their energetic performances. Attendees can also enjoy food, drinks, and snow cones. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere with commodore for all attendees to enjoy.
A key feature of the event is “Stuff the Truck,” where community members are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to fill a truck on site. For every pound of food donated, Sunshine Learning Center has pledged to match with a $1 donation, doubling the impact of each contribution.
“We are thrilled to host this event to raise awareness and much-needed resources for our shelter and food pantry,” said Corrisa Villeneuve, Executive Director of Stepping Stones. “By coming together as a community and enjoying a day of music and food, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who rely on our services. We continue to grow the event by adding new features such as a lemonade stand and snow cone stand.”
The event will run from 6 pm to 9 pm and is open to the public. Admission is free, with opportunities throughout the event for attendees to support Stepping Stone’s mission through donations and pledges.
